Past and Present Scholars of Brighton Secondary School were invited to come together and register to be one of the '60 Diamonds' as part of the SALA Festival this year. The artists were invited to create a piece of work in any medium to help celebrate the school's 60th Anniversary, and so become a 'Diamond' - one of the sixty pieces of work on display. The exhibition was held in The Performing Arts Centre and included works by Ann Newmarch, Alan Todd, Yasmin Paterson, The Dallwitz family, Peter Drew (to name a few) and was opened by internationally renowned SA sculptor and BSS Old Scholar Mr Greg Johns. The exhibition runs from August 9th-16th.

'Jetty Road Glenelg presents an inspirational art trail, offering a visual feast to stimulate your senses. Feel the sea breeze on your face and the warmth of a fine coffee as you wander our precinct and admire the art displays in many of our businesses, galleries and outdoor spaces.
The SALA brochure is designed to guide you through businesses displaying art within the Jetty Road Glenelg precinct, while allowing you to enjoy everything that the area has to offer.' To download your copy of the Glenelg Sala art trail please go to: http://www.holdfast.sa.gov.au/discover/sala
