Melbourne International Airport: Artwork in departure lounge.

Pretty privileged to have an artwork celebrated in the City of Melbourne ... again! The MoVida Next Door mural painted on Hosier Lane in Winter of 2008 is currently on display on the walls of Melbourne's International Airport departure lounge. Photographic company Visual Resource have taken 13 images which they feel reflect the experience and mood of Melbourne, in order to connect with travellers to their departure city. The company have recreated our 2008 mural into a larger than life-sized image comparable to the scale of a billboard. Graffiti and street art can be so transient... it's nice to have this piece revived and viewed by a completely different and vast audience. "With 2.5 million passengers passing through the departure lounge each year, Melbourne Airport may well have inadvertently become one of the country's most frequented art galleries".
